Acne Scar Treatment
If you have acne, it is recommended that you use topical antibiotics for reducing and healing the wounds. Another way to control the infections is washing your face in the morning and before you go to sleep with soap and water, then applying a facial tonic and finally an antibiotic. Once the acne is controlled and there are no symptoms, it is possible to proceed with the treatment of any acne related scars.
The acne scar treatment consists of "sandpapering" the skin with a well sharpened blade or with a device that eliminates the epidermis and dermis. After a short period of time new skin will grow, and it will look thinner and smooth. The width of the craters and the scars will be smaller and less visible. The treatment is done under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
To avoid or reduce skin acne, it is necessary to avoid fatty foods and touching your FACE with your hands without previously washing them with soap and water. Hands are the best carriers of many types of bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc., which affect the gland pores thus resulting in acne.
